Mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 10:00am, and get ready for a day packed with exciting activities for all ages!
Bring a picnic to enjoy or grab some delicious food from the cafe or Rotary Van. Find a cozy spot to relax while listening to live music from talented local artists.
Kids will love the face painting and Nautre Play stations designed to spark their creativitiy. Take in the stunning beauty of the gardens as you spend quality time with your family.
Live music, Smile Squad Dental Van, craft and Nature Plan activities will keep all the family entertained.
Don’t miss the inaufural Ladybug Rock Hunt at midday - its sure to be a highlight of the day!

Free Children’s Fun Day (Rippleside Park)
Kick off the festivities with the convenience of the free Carpark and indulge in delicious treats from our food and drink vendors. The fun truly begins with free rides and entertainment, where kids can explore the Interactive Scouts Compound and discover the world of Emergency Services through engaging activities.
Keep your eyes peeled for roving entertainment that will surprise and delight throughout the event. Don't miss the grand parade, featuring an array of captivating floats.

Great Barrier Reef Exploration (Corio Library)
Take a virtual dive into the Great Barrier Reef with the team at Corio Library. Then, make a splash by creating a painting, poster or writing a letter advocating for ocean conservation. For ages 8+
Bookings recommended but you can also drop in on the day.
Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult orcarer) in libraries and our programs.

Pop Up Museum (Geelong Botanic Garden)
The National Wool Museum team are on the road again this summer and popping up at locations across the region.
Join the team for interactive story time, crafts inspired by their current exhibition, Wildlife Photographer of the Year plus lots of opportunities to play with toys, tools and costumes from our Handling Collection. Go on a self-guided scavenger hunt through the gardens to find plants, flowers and insects.
Nature Weaving
This nature weaving activity combines creativity and the outdoors. It costs nothing and encourages exploration of textures and nature. Make your frame using branches then weave through leaves and flowers.
Suitable for children 3 years plus. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sewing Basics - Craft Connect (Corio Library)
Always wanted to learn how to sew on a sewing machine? Then come and take a beginner's class at Corio Library.
In this session you will learn how to use the library sewing machines that are always available. The team will inspire you to take on some easy, clever sewing projects to impress your family and friends.
