2025 Footy Tipping
Get excited, the season starts in just 2 days!
This week the AFL decided to postpone the first game of the season (between the Cats and the Lions). That means you have one extra day to sign up and get your tips in! The new deadline is 7:35pm on Friday the 7th of March, right before the Swans and the Hawks kick off! You can join us after this time as well, however, any games you miss will default your tip to the away team (see rules and conditions below).
If you haven't already, please join us! At the time of writing this email, only 19 people are on the ladder, meaning there's a good chance you'll make it to the top 3 and win a cash prize!
How to join:
1. Go to iTipFooty and register a user account if you don't already have one.
2. Login with your user account (or create a new account) and click the 'JOIN COMP' button.
3. Enter Comp # 126665 and Comp Password TCG2025
4. Click 'Join Comp'
5. You're now ready to enter your tips!

First time joining a footy tipping competition? No worries!
A footy tipping competition is a fun and simple game where you try to predict the winners of footy matches each week. Before the round starts, you "tip" (or pick) which teams you think will win. If your tips are correct, you earn points. The more correct tips you have, the more points you score.
At the end of the season, the person with the most points wins!
Terms to learn:
Tip: Your prediction of which team will win a specific match.
Round: A set of AFL games played over a weekend or week. You make your tips for each game in the round.
Points: What you earn when you get a tip correct. The person with the most points wins the comp.
Ladder: A leaderboard showing who's on top based on points.
Streak: When you get several tips right in a row-always feels good!
Underdog: The team that's less likely to win, but tipping them right can feel extra satisfying.
Conditions and Rules
Free entry for all staff and clients of The Companion Group
You must be an active staff member/client for the entirety of the season
Enter your tips every week, if you miss the deadline or decide to join the competition late, your tips automatically go to the away team.
Cut off for each week is 5 minutes before the first game of the round (for example, the first game of round one starts at 7:50pm on Thursday 6th of March, so tip cut off will be 7:45pm, this applies for the whole round). Hint: Get your tips in early, you can change them as long as it's before the cut off.
Tipping the winner will give you 1 point, tipping a draw will give you 2 points, tipping a perfect round will give you 3 points.
